Knack Woodcraft's focus in Windsor is cabinet installation, including cabinets you bought from IKEA, a big-box store, or an online supplier, and custom cabinets we build in our shop. We also install interior trim, from baseboard and door casing to crown and interior doors, when the job needs it. Get an install quote or call or text (720) 446-6461.
Windsor has built a reputation as one of Northern Colorado's premier addresses, and communities like Water Valley and RainDance are a big part of why. These are homes designed around golf courses, lakes, and resort-style amenities, built to a standard that expects the cabinetry and millwork inside to match the quality of everything around it. Knack Woodcraft builds custom Euro frameless cabinetry for exactly this kind of home — precise, durable, and finished at a level that holds up to a discerning owner's eye.
Cabinet installation in Windsor
Not every Windsor project starts with us building the cabinets. If you've already purchased cabinetry from another supplier and need a precise, professional install, we offer that as a standalone service too — including field measure, so your existing order fits the space correctly the first time.
Interior trim installation in Windsor
Higher-end Windsor homes, including those in Water Valley and RainDance, tend to carry heavier trim: taller baseboard, wider casing, crown, wainscoting and paneled walls, and trim that ties built-ins and cabinet runs into the room. We install baseboard, door and window casing, crown molding, interior doors and door casing, and wainscoting, fitted so miters stay tight and reveals stay even.
Custom cabinetry for Water Valley and RainDance
Water Valley's lakeside and golf-course homes and RainDance's newer luxury builds both call for kitchens that function as the centerpiece of the house — large islands, integrated appliance panels, butler's pantries, and full-height cabinetry runs that need to be dead level and perfectly scribed to be convincing. We build on full 3/4-inch boxes with Blum soft-close hardware and offer full-overlay doors in your choice of finish, so the cabinetry reads as a true custom build rather than an upgraded production kitchen.
Built-ins and millwork for Windsor's luxury homes
Beyond the kitchen, homes in Water Valley and RainDance often call for matching built-ins throughout — home office cabinetry, wet bars, wine storage, mudroom systems, and media walls with integrated lighting. We also handle the architectural millwork these homes deserve: wainscoting, coffered ceiling trim, stair parts and handrails, crown, and mantels, all built to match the level of finish already in the house.
Custom closets built for how you actually live
Primary suites in Windsor's newer luxury communities tend to include generous walk-in closets that are often left as builder-grade shelving. We design and build full custom closet systems — islands, dedicated jewelry and accessory storage, and tailored hanging and drawer configurations — that make better use of that space than the standard build-out.

Windsor cabinet & trim installation FAQ
Do you install cabinets that weren't built by Knack?
Yes. Professional installation of cabinets purchased elsewhere is one of our standard services, whether that's for a Windsor luxury build or a more modest project. We offer install-only scopes and professional field measure as well.
What interior trim do you install in Windsor?
Baseboard, door and window casing, crown molding, interior doors and door casing, wainscoting and paneling, and the trim that finishes built-ins and cabinet runs. We install trim for new construction, basement finishes, and remodels in Windsor, and we can match existing profiles where they are still available.
What's included in an install, and how long does it take?
Your written quote spells out the scope: layout check, installation, scribing and fillers, toe kick, crown or trim as listed, final adjustments, and cleanup. Timing depends on the number of cabinets or the linear feet of trim and on whether the site is ready, so we confirm a schedule after reviewing your measurements and photos or visiting the site.
Are you insured, and who handles permits?
Knack Woodcraft is fully insured. Cabinet installation, custom cabinet building, and interior trim are finish work. If a project needs a building permit, such as moving plumbing, electrical, or walls, we will say so before we start. We do not pull permits we are not set up to pull.
